The wonders of nature...

It's truly amazing all the little things that can be made into art. A simple hand full of dry grass tied together to make some sort of sculpture, some rocks arranged in such a way to look like some shape or form. These photos aren't mine completely they were given to me by some really artistic people (Louis and Carmen, to whom I am very grateful) for an assessment based on public speaking, however we weren't made aware until later...hmm...I smell sneaky teachers haha...anyways we were asked to make a land sculpture of some kind out of what we found naturally in the area we chose to do our sculpture in. So we set out to do just that and in about an hour and a half we had created something that we could be really proud of, and its something that I wanted to share with the blogger community to show what can be done with something as simple as some naturally found materials and some open space.

The other night there was a really heavy storm front brewing over Colac, and there were some pretty amazing cloud formations that in conjunction with the setting light made for some really lovely photos...unfortunately i was only really able to catch the tail end of these wonderous clouds but I gained some awesome shots of the moon that was just starting to appear in the fading light...

These photos are once again part of my photography for my course, but here I tried a different approach. Here I tried to encapsulate the moon light and the effect it has on where that light hits in these photographs, which surprisingly was really really hard.

In the falling light..

Once again these photos are of significance to my photography section of my course; where I have used the falling/setting sun to show the wonderous colours that appear when the day is ending.

These particular photos have significance to my photography section of my Tafe course; where we are asked to make a blog and record our photo-graphical journey through light and how it affects photographs. It's uses and dynamics and the overall effect of it on a photographs construct and display.

New found land

Hello people of the blogger community, it's interesting the way things progress in life and how you come to do things like this. A week ago I would never had imagined that I would be making my own blog when I started at Tafe but here I am. =)
